OPEN CITY COUNCIL SEAT:
The city has one open council seat. If you'd like to be considered for the seat, please contact the city clerk.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be a resident of the city for at least 30 days prior to the election.
- Must be at least 18 years old on or before election day.
- Must be a registered voter in the city.
- Cannot have been convicted of a felony without having had rights restored.
BUILDING PERMITS are required within city limits.
Please contact the city clerk at placervilleclerk110@ gmail.com for an application. Council meetings are held once a month, the first Saturday of each month, typically. Building permits are approved at council meetings. Applications and required documents must be submitted at least 72 hours before a council meeting. If you need one quickly, please plan ahead in order for your application to be included on a current agenda.
Permits are for building projects including but not limited to: commercial property, deck, roof, lean-to, new home, etc.
